I'm happy to announce that my latest novel, The Gift of the Cuentista is finished. Two years in the making and Isla Larsen Sanchez's story is at an end. And I found a few surprises on the way. Now to find a good home for her. I will keep you all posted on its progress.
In addition, I have some interesting magazine pieces coming up. I wrote an article on the trend of getting tattooed over 50 for AARP Magazine that will appear in their July/August issue. I will also be doing a piece for Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine which is a reluctant omnivore's culinary tour of Puerto Rico (it's a long story, but you're intrigued, aren't you? Guess you will just have to buy the magazine!). My family and I are heading to La Isla Bonita to see my family and eat disturbing food later this month.
